OK, I put out a feeler before for this and we have a date. July 6th it is a Sunday.
Here's the deal: it costs 550.00 to rent the area for the day, sun up to sun down.
We have access to a tin of cones to set up whatever we wnat to.
We have a large wet skid pad for slides and spins and such
We do NOT have an "official" time clock for racing a stop watch will do I guess if it is that important
we can do whatever we feel like, as long as no one is INCREDIBLY stupid that is, but we will all monitor each other for that I am sure.
If you ever wanted to, drift, spin, slide into parking spots, practice high speed turns, this is the place to do it safely and LEGALLY.
I need to cover costs at least here, I would like it to be only $30/ per person. In that case it would take around 20 people. You can come and go as you please all day.
Bring what you want to eat and drink.
It is at the Osceola Police Skid pad at TECO right off the t-pike on Simpson rd.
Let's get a list going and if I don't have the numbers by June 9th, that is next Monday, we must cancel. They are pretty tight on their schedule and that is the due date for payment.

Well, I only got 5 people that want to do this soo far. If I can't get about 10 more by Monday we will have to kill the idea.

Are you going to be available for instruction? If we are going to set up some sort of course I'd be interested. 30 people hauling butt sliding around on pavement is kind of scary. What is the agenda?
