Found another issue with the damn Z.. both radiator fans crapped out for some damn reason... luckily... they have extended warranty!!! 7yrs!! FREE PLEASE!!

 

Damn dude the Z seems like it has been a nightmare lately...

So I changed the oil in my car and the girls car (Saturn Sky Redline) yesterday, and after I was done, her car threw a check engine light... go to Advanced to get the code read, and it is for the front O2 sensor... the car is 1.5 years old and already the O2 sensor has taken a crap... luckily it will be replaced for free!

 

Ya tell me about it..nissan wants $189 for 1 DAMN fan.. luckily found idependant supplier.. $40 a pop... car needs 2... whats even better Nissan says its a sensor that turns the fan on...said I need to drive the car to the dealership to claim warranty... I told him "OK so after I drive it MAYBE 20 mins and it overheats and pops the head gaskets and kills the BRAND NEW built engine you guys will have to warranty THAT as well b/c of your DUMBASS advise to drive it despite radiator fans NOT working"
Pure silence...
I asked him how long he's "WORKED" on cars... stammering.. I don't work on them.. I'm just the parts guy...

lets see if i recall it was you who wasted over an hour of my precious tooning time last wednesday night with your please help calls to me and brandon asking " i changed my alternator out and now my car wont run" tech calls. and repeatedly were told follow your every move and retrace anything you coulda bumped or touched along the way only to find you pulled a wire out of your map sensor that brandon fixed in less than 5 mins!.............

and then a previous "tech" call on the Z a day or so before.

you: he man got it started but its running rough as hell
me: check the plugs and see if they are all firing
you: silence mostly with a few metallic and ratchet sounds then
you: (enthusiastically)HEY THATS WHERE THAT WENT!
me: What are you talking about?
you: oh i just found that rubber boot thingy that makes a spark plug socket not a normal socket stuck between the coil pack and the plug!
me: i gotta go now (laughing on the inside uncontrollably) talk to you later, click

Ya so the z still was running bad after I took the rubber gromet out.. Nevermind the toon was on the wrong setting and gone do had to put it on the correct setting..
And ya ya so the Evo wouldn't catch due to the map sensor being unclipped... No one told me that would prevent spark to begin with... But seriously... Why should I listen to a guy who's poopra in 5th at WOT around 6k rpms is LAZER confirmed only doing 105mph??? I mean comon I can pedal a bike in 5th gear faster!
