oh I know, and the discs were different from the flywheel so ill give it a good 400-500 miles break in befor anything, the car should be 100% now.

and dude I never flip out about **** when going places, but city mitsu has been pissn me off, they always do me good and what not but i wish they would ask befor assumeing,..

I explained to them exactly what I needed, " Its the banjo bolt that connects the mivec oil line to the block, has a built in check valve in it". and what do they order,... the oil thermostat,.. good lord how do you mix that up.

last time I got something they ordered automatic tranmission dowels,.. since when did the evo come in automatic,..

Don't feel bad Will I feel your pain... My car will not make the meet again which seems to be a normal thing whenever meets come around. I lost 5th gear on way to Mike's house last night heading up to do some tuning. Atleast some things ended up turning out GREAT just not for me...

Looks like I'll end up being co-pilot/tuner in Mike's car instead though.

I completely lost the gear while driving... the car redlined instantly. I can put it in 5th while the car is running with no clutch. FYI, driving up to Georgia in 4th is not fun.

I think aliens came down and stole my 5th gear while I was driving “Skyline” style!!

So it’s time to call John Shepherd for a 3rd rebuild of my transmission. I wanted the 5th gear grind fixed that started less than 250 miles into the last rebuild eventually anyway so I guess this simply forces me to tear the damn car apart again.

Geez sorry man. Once Kyms car is up and going here soon I'll be able to take mine apart and have the tranny sent out to Buschur.. his brother is working with me on that exact issue about the 5th gear grinding.. want to look at it and see whats up and a possible solution. Mine does the same where it grinds sometimes and others it doesn't.. thats why I don't run any farther than 4th gear as it sits.

Its a brass banjo..does it stop half way in.. I mean where is it breaking exactly? Might want to examine that aspect to see before throwing another one in there.

Where are the pics of Justins whip? I wanna see this thing

our new plan of attack is useing thinner crush washers, its one of those things you just have to see to understand.

also talked with MAP who makes the fitting and SS line and they are trying to work something out too,.. but no joke I think mitsu got me the wrong crush washers that are to thick, so no as many threads go into the peice,... blah to hard to explain on here.

Nah I get the jist of it.. basically the bolt goes into the line and then the block and there aren't enough threads to attach to the block securely and thats where it snaps right?
