Hey guys I just moved to Jacksonville a few months ago and just picked up an evo this past month. Picked up a 2008 GSR with 9300 miles.

Came from the DSM world and Colorado not to long ago. And looking forward to just properly tuning my car. Just bought a tactrix cable about 30 min ago.

My question for everyone, is where an awd dyno in this town? There was about 10 of them in Denver but I haven't seen any in Jax.

Luke, the only AWD dyno in town is at Mase Engineering... in my experience, he is unwilling to rent dyno time for you to tune your own vehicle... I could be wrong though...

I've lived here most of my life and love it. We have a lot going on and the city overall is pretty laid back.

 

Roughly what is the cost of living? Finding jobs easy? I am pretty confident i want to move there.

I've lived here for about 6 months now. Jacksonville has a pretty high unemployment rate right now. I was unemployed for 3 months when I first moved here, but a lot of it might have to do with what you specialize in.

 

Really anything until I can start school.
