I dont even think that would help. I'll try one more time to seat them and try to make them not leak and then I'm rocking the OEM and sending them back to get checked out.

Did you change axle seals in the transfer case?

 

No. I might need to do that to see if that might be it Scott. We were going to change them out but couldnt find the seals anywhere. Maybe I should have bought that Nova I saw at the same time as the Evo. It's still on craigslist.

 

Nah, you just need to get with us to go over the car with you.

 

You being an AM I would have thought you would know to replace those seals

 

I can figure out how to replace them and have gone over that with the guys at the hobby shop. I would have replaced them but Oreilly's who said they had them didnt. They had a different seal. Well I ordered them and they'll be at city on Saturday and I'll be at Joe's right after that changing them out.

We started later than I wanted but so far so good. Definitely the original transmission seals didnt like me taking the axles out.
