Yeah I need to call him up and tell him i'm coming down Saturday to look at it. At least I know what could and would go wrong now. He said he had the ACD pump replaced but all 3 lights are on still. Anybody know about this?

 

i do my old evo had a pinched wire from the acd pump that caused the lights to stay on.

make sure about that 3rd gear grind. 5th is common but 3rd not so much.

I'm all about having to upgrade the T-case but not the tranny.

last night a WRX guy started talking to me about my Evo and asked me if i ever go to the auto-x's. i was telling him that everytime there's one i either have duty or something's going on with me. that's when he tell's me that there's one this weekend. sure enough, i have duty lol. then we got told we're having 2 flights so for us to be flexible with our hours. so i'm not sure if i'll be able to go

 

All the times I've ever gone, there's never been more than one EVO, that's if any ever show up. Whenever I go to try and talk with any of them, they look at me like there **** don't stink, and that's all of them in the last 6 years. If any of you personally know me, you know I'm pretty damn personable and don't put up a front. All but one actually, and he was an older gentleman from the Central Florida SCCA region. Whitehouse, St. Augustine Technical Institute, Roebling Roads, Gainesville Raceway, etc. I run more with the North Florida Corvette Association in their Open Class, since it's a better bang for the buck.

I raced down in the infield of Homestead Speedway, and met a gang of EVO guys and they actually were more hospitable. Not to mention, their EVO's were ridiculously track prepped with thousands of dollars worth of suspension/wheel/tire work.
