Great idea imo.

but if it has contours/curvatures then I am affraid the best way to do it is to send it off to one of those cmm labs, where they scan the part and make a model out of it.

if u ended up needing those labs, I would recommend contacting the universities around here, since u have a company now, they could contract thier grad student for cheap ($10-$20/hr) to have those parts scanned.
I do a lot of this in my line of work. Justin - Give me a call, I know of a really great company in wake forest that not only can do the modeling but they can make the moldings and give you a finished product too. I can hook you up if your interested, i'm a good customer of theirs.

It's easy, but it's painstaking. Just take your time because it takes some... maneuvering to get the round assembly that holds the pump out of the square hole. Round peg, square hole... way to go Mitsu. Way to go.

I'm pretty proud of myself for even lasting 3 years. My odometer's getting ready to tick 30k and i figure if it hasn't broken yet it ain't gonna break. I think i'll be able to chill a bit after the TBE though. Maybe it'll be a MBC and a tune next... what i SHOULD do is try to pay the evo off next year.

btw i'm definitely going to try and install the exhaust on saturday. I've only got a floor jack and two jack stands. What else do i need to buy to make this happen?

Also, if you guys were serious about helping out let me know if you can come over for sure, i'll buy drinks and pizza or something. It's gotta get done saturday though because i'm outta here on sunday.

I'll even put on the kentucky game just for you daniel
