so my mbc is acting up, sometimes I don't hit full boost till close to 7k (3rd or 4th gear pull), and sometimes it stays at around 1 kg/cm^3 (stock gauge) for a 1 -1.5 secs then it starts moving its way up to 1.5
I have checked for the following:
1) lines installed correctly, the nipple off the mbc that is inline with the boost control is connected to the jpipe.
2) open up the mbc to see if any dirt is in there, and everything seemed fine.
3) not sure what type of spring it has, i bought it used, but it has a metalic looking ball and not a ceramic one. and the spring color was silver if that can lead u to anything.
4) I turned it all the way down and hit 0.5-0.7 on the gauge, then with only one and half turns on the control it passed 1.5

any idea what the issue might be? maybe boost leak? wastegate is getting stuck?....etc

Red Evo IX was behind me on glenwood then onto 440...I think it was stock...anyone on here at all??
