Well as far as I know it was only a 5 speed LOL I'm used to 5 speeds so I didn't even try for a 6th... LOL

It does NOT have blue seats these are black leather, it has HID's and Infinity sound system with sub in the trunk

 

BTW, I appreciate all the info... I searched but like most forums I am on... you get 10k pages of junk before you get what you want... LOL

 

Yeah, it looks like an VIII with the SSL package (Sun/Sound/Leather)...

 

Time to go make some attempt to clean this car off before I head out...it's gross!

Welcome the forum and soon to be Evo world. There are several of us local so I'm sure one of us could go check it out with you. It's possible that the low boost could be a boost leak somewhere or the guage may be inaccurate. It would be really helpful to take someone who has a tactrix cable and could check to see if there is a tune on the car and what it looks like. As far as differences between the models, the MR will be a 6 speed, the RS is bare car (no power windows, no radio I think). The RS is rare so it's unlikely it's an RS.

Edit: After looking at the link, it looks like an SSL package. I will say this though, I think it might be a little overpriced for having 60k miles. It's been a year since I sold mine but I would compare it what they're going for in the for sale section of EvoM.

Can't you get a IX for about that price these days? If so that would be the better way to go IMO

To the new guy, welcome to EvoM and the Evo world! That car looks OK, but like others have said get something to check it out with you and do a leak test. Also, that's way overpriced for an VIII. I would say don't pay more than $16-17k for that car if that's the car you want.
