Hey Daniel...Formula One's still around, they just moved the Spring Forest Rd. location over to Newton Rd...

Sucks, they had a coupon for $30 off a full install, but it expired 1/1/11...
Looking forward to seeing the new ride!

going to raleigh today i may drive the evo but if i dont look for a burgundy eclipse with eclipse written up the side.
does anyone in the raleigh area have the timing belt tool used for changing cams and timing belt by any chance? I'd like to borrow one but will give a little bit of money just to borrow it for a weekend or 2

Jason - Found the thread on EvoX. Been browsing over there a bit, but didn't join until today.
On a side note, I have some initial thoughts regarding the first 300ish miles on the X..
First, why in the world does the speedo go to 190? You look down and the needle is barely around the circle so you think you're doing about 40, but really you're doing about 70 because the speedo goes so friggin high haha
Second, this car is SCREAMING for a 6th gear on the interstate. 3500 at 75 on the interstate is ridiculous... maybe it will make me drive slower

Third, I am in love with the leather Recaro's. Definitely a good choice for me.
Fourth, the gearbox is very notchy at idle, but smoother while moving... hoping that's newness that improves with driving. Any X owners that bought their car new care to comment?
Fifth... break in procedures suck haha
That's it for now. Glad to be back in some AWD boosted goodness
Dan for the notchiness you'll need the redline cocktail.

It will help the tranny warm up faster and give you better shifting feel all around.
A 6th gear would have been nice but trust me the car does fine at 3500+ for 4+ hours.

you didn't install two different kind of tires on there did you? I did that right after I got my X and the stock one got a nail in it, Doesnt say anything in the manual about and even one of the mitsubishi techs I talked to never heard of it, but two different tread patterns will through a maint light
