just a regular C6? or a C6 z06? C6s are okay, never impressed me much since I could pull them when I was stock turbo...

Agreed. The z06's are no joke.

BTW, it appears that in 12 hours they've changed the forecast to 60 and sunny Saturday which confirms that the local weather people have no clue what's going on so we'll hope for nice weather Saturday

At least the C6 owner is on the right track...if I had an LS3, I would boost it also...

ZR1s are nastyyyy...my buddy's bone stock c6 z06 put down 450whp on a mustang dyno that read very similar to Buschur, CBRD, Epic, etc...So a z06, as long as the driver isn't a complete douche, would pull you pretty good too, they have a bit of a weight & aerodynamic advantage over us...haha...

they don't have to lug around the awd system which at least takes several lbs off the car plus the lack of a backseat, extra glass, etc.

So I picked this book up off Amazon.com for $16 shipped, it goes over alot of the 4g63 details as far as some of the changes it has over the previous versions (6 vs 7 bolts), and general tips on basically everything (torqing, head and bottom end builds...etc).
I was kinda disappointed at first as I thought it would have a step-by-step instructions on engine assemblies, installation...etc but it seems to be more on why certain combos/parts are better than others ie. compression ratios, material selection, balance shafts, oil/fuel systems...etc
anyways...here are a couple of pics. let me know if any of u need a pic of a particular section to get an idea of whats it talking about!
good read if u wanna learn more!

Books make me sleepy.

ohnoes, It looks like I may NOT be at the meet Saturday.

I have a guy that is pretty serious about getting my Ohlins Flags that wants them this weekend so we'll see if I have to take care of that Saturday.

Also looks like RJ may be doing my exhaust Friday.

I think you can use the 9 on an 8 but not a 8 on a 9 something like that.
