They turned it over to prime it and check oil pressure today and everything looks good. Waiting on one OEM part to be able to mount up the MAF and we'll be ready to fire it. Should have that Friday.

Good news/Bad news: I booked a flight to ATL for the weekend for a couple of bday's and won't be at Cars N Coffee. The good news is, if everything goes according to plan, Justin is planning to bring the car Saturday. So if you go, you'll get to hear it run before I will. (which is kinda ****ed up, now that I think about it)

Wheels/Tires will be on next week, then a quick day at the body shop to get one piece of carbon sorted out, and the SSS wing is going back on. (I dont feel like dropping $1500 on a Voltex yet)

Then we'll get vinyl done. I can't wait for you guys to see what I've got planned.

(I'm mildly freaking out over here. I haven't heard my car run since January.)
Hmm... I was starting to consider bailing on that meet this weekend, but if Justin is bringing your car I might go check it out

If you'd rather wait and see it cleaned up with the new wheels, wait til next week. The drive from Faye to Cary will be a nice break-in run so they can start tuning it.

Once we get the wheels on and the suspension setup, it's going to the body shop to get the pass fender properly aligned and the SSS wing put on the CF trunk. (gonna try this first before dropping $1700+ on a Voltex)

(I almost hope I miss my flight in the morning)

Not sure if you've rolled your rear fenders yet, but you may want to have the body shop go ahead and do that while they're already working on the car. Or, it's not a difficult task if you rent the fender roller and a heat gun

It belongs to a girl who owns it who just moved to NC. The rear plate is a new PA plate. I think the answer to question 2 is - you can't.

It was kind of sad...I was actually at Brier Creek yesterday morning, and there were some stragglers who must not have been aware that C&C moved to Cary. A Ferrari, a couple of imports, and a handful of muscle cars were just ambling around the lot...

Did you at least stop and tell them it had moved?

I would love to find someone that wants to trade bumpers for a front plate. Mine is a CA car and has the holes and I still have the bracket for the front plate that goes right under the driver side headlight. Was thinking of putting it back on with some sort of vanity plate.

i just have a rubber grommet in that hole on my bumper. I was so sad when they had to drill a hole in the bumper for a plate.

Will definitely be rolling the rears and cutting/folding that rear bumper cover bracket. Fronts should be fine with the Seibon fenders.

Im mostly just looking forward to not riding monster-truck-stylie anymore. :P
