Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet
the VIN? chatting with the GM of a Mitsu Stealership, they say they require it so you are ensured to get the right part for your car, because there can be so many variances blah blah blah.
I told him, once you ask for my VIN and i say i dont have it or wont give it, you should move on, since it's not on me if its the wrong part. If i want a waterpump for a Diamonte to try and fit it to my lawnmower, why should they give a ****? just sell em the part.
99% of the time, i get to a parts department knowing part number, what the part looks like, and rough price. If any of that seems off to me, then i can investigate further.

Any of you guys interested in going down to charlotte next Saturday (7/28) for that import alliance meet? I believe ethan is planning on going down. I might be interested depending on how some other plans shake out. My mom is supposed to come for a visit that weekend. If she comes then I'm out, but if her plans change then I'd be up for a day trip Saturday. Any of you guys around and free that Saturday?
