Hey guys! I just wanted to introduce myself (Brandon). After 8 years of dreaming I will be taking a trip up to Maryland tomorrow to pick up my WW 05 Evo 8 . I hope to bring it out to meet some of you guys and add on to the Raleigh crew!

Also, I'm not sure of your Evom name on here, but for the guy that lives in the Cary with the clean blue IX...I'm the guy that you talked to on Cary Pkwy. with the red 02 gt. Sold it last weekend!

 

Welcome! You picked a good time to want to meet up with a bunch of us locally as we are shooting to have a meet at cars n coffee followed by a cookout June 2nd. If you have never been to cars n coffee its worthwhile to go. There are a ton of cars with a wide variety from classics to exotics. The meet starts early around 8am and goes till 11ish at Brier Creek shopping center across from the Barnes and Noble. Its pretty hard to miss. Best of luck with the car and hope to meet you soon.

We typically park where we can find room. Some of us get there pretty early, so just drive around where you see the "show" cars parking, and you'll probably see an Evo or two.

Seems like we have too many guys shedding their Evos...nice to see someone picking one up!

As for the Brier Creek meet on June 2, we normally get there around 8:45 or so and try to park together. This month we're trying to have a much larger meet afterwards and get some of the Fayetteville crew to come to hopefully

 

Sounds good! I enjoyed driving mine home today, although the 4 hour stop and go traffic out of DC was horrible.

 

Brandon, where are you in Raleigh? You may be able to meet someone somewhere before the meet and then "caravan" there.

I'm out in Wake Forest, and sometimes I'll drive in with a couple of guys from out here...

Hey Brandon, welcome to the club. I'm out in Clayton so kinda out of the way. hope to catch all of you guys at the June meet. I also talked to Justin out at Force-Fed and it sounds like he was in. Hopefully we'll get a good showing!

Also on a side note. If anybody has a Exedy twin they are looking to get rid of let me know. The Dragon ate my clutch so I'm babying it till I can do a rebuild.

Looking forward to seeing you again as well Rodney. I've been getting in contact with Josh at spec ops to get everything looked at I.e. diagnostics. Also need to find a body shop to fix the sun damage on the rear wing. Car was daily driven so it has its blemishes. Love it though, it still doesn't feel like I own one after wanting one for years and years.
