hey guys long time not much action lol. That means its time for the fall cookout/meet again. Figured I'd post up in here for the few of you not checking evox. Looks like the weekends that work for most people are Oct 6th and Oct 13. There seems to be more support for the 13th right now. Locations being discussed are lake Jordan again and lake crabtree. Feel free to post up suggestions/ideas/or what dates work best for you. Hope to see some of you guys!

 

Anyone planning on going to Cars & Coffee in Cary next Saturday?

 

I'm not sure if I'll be going. I usually try and make it out though.

As for the cookout looks like Oct 13th around 12pm at lake Jordan. I have a feeling we'll be setting up by the boat ramps again as that parking lot is huge and there is a picnic pavilion nearby. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I am new to the area and just picked up a 2012 Evo X. Just wondering if/when people still got together around here. Would love to meet some other local Evo owners.

 

Welcome to the evox world. Cars and coffee is meeting up tomorrow morning. It is at the Waverly Place shopping center in Cary. You'll want to be there before 8am if possible to get a good spot. It fills up quickly (especially if the weather is nice). There is at least one ex-evox guy named Dan there (look for a white bmw 135 that is pristine. I think Josh is going as well (evoix rs with JBweld on the rear fender (make sure you give him crap for it...tell him I said so )

We are also having a group picnic next Sunday at Lake Jordan off white oak beach rd (off of hwy 64). We'll be meeting up at 12-12:15pm. Feel free to drop by and introduce yourself!

Update on the picnic this upcoming Sunday. Got about 8-10 cars coming including some from Charlotte so it should be a good time. Remember the park charges 5 bucks per car for entry to the boat ramp area. Also food is pretty much covered (brats, chips, soda). Hope to see some of you guys there!

 

Sadly my car still won't be here yet it is finally on the boat from Hawaii though. Should be here in raleigh mid nov
