I have to admit, I have a small crush on Weiyan's car after seeing it at the meet at the lake a few months back

They're reviewing the cop car options to replace the Crown Vic on the US Top Gear tonight. They should DEFINITELY use the Taurus SHO based option over the Charger and Caprice. 365 hp, twin turbo, AWD

Isn't the new Caprice supposed to be a re-badged G8? I agree, the SHO would be the way to go...an all-weather interceptor.

Has anyone thought about what to do for an end-of-summer meet? It's coming up fast...

Wheels look good Nick

Mike - We had a big meet at Jordan Lake a few months back and had a cookout. The place turned out to be great (huge parking lot, nice pics, covered area to grill) so we might do that again. I'll run it by the X guys and see who's up for a meet soon.

It is about time for the big fall get together (or just another meet). I'm game for wherever even my place if we can't find a good spot. We could try Umstead park. It should be free whereas jordan lake was 5 bucks per car and we got yelled at for taking pictures lol. There are tons of places around the city to go visit just need to decide on a good one and start making plans.

I will be gone from Aug 24-Sep 4 for a trade show in San Fran. Car should be done by that C&C but I won't be here unfortunately. Likely going to leave the car with Rocky to fix the CF and put the wing back on while I'm gone.

My next trip isnt until mid-October and available anytime between the two.

I drove the car home tonight for some breakin mileage, and going back down tomorrow for an oil change and she's going on the dyno for a big boy tune.

I'm down to do both of those on Saturday since I've got her back, and will miss C&C next weekend.
