I was actually hoping to get her up on jacks and start swapping parts…etc but damn its been too cold here….lol …. Plus I ordered a couple things to swap on the car (ac delete kit, and a starter) as my current ac compressor bearing sounds like a basket full of marbles when its idling…so once these arrive, she will be up and running
Ps. I also ordered a gopro hero3

Hey guys, I've had a minor exhaust leak for a while between the cat and the mid-pipe. Recently, it's gotten worse, and now there are piles of carbon on the garage floor from where I've idled the car to warm it up.
Obviously, the gasket's gone to hell and I need to replace it. Should I be concerned about the amount of carbon it's puking out? Can I safely drive it for a couple of days until I get time to fix it?
Thanks,
-Mike

This is not going to hurt the car... It just sounds and smells bad.

Thanks guys. I figured it wasn't the end of the world, but the interwebz are full of crazy stories about things so I thought I'd throw it out there.
I just wouldn't of imagined there would be THAT much carbon powder...I mean, literally piles that you can drag your finger through and make a trench in. I'd pull my plugs to see what they look like, but the car's going in for 60K, so the plugs are getting swapped anyway.
Oh well, a new gasket and the problem will be solved.
Thanks!

You still rocking the stock exhaust on your car?? If so, impressive! haha...
