was your S4 blue with a license plate that said "mclovn?"

if so, we've had a test of acceleration before.

that wasnt me sir, I had a silver s4 with dark grey t1r wheels, drop. looked stock really on the outside. ive taken it to mmp and best i did was 12.6 because im a terrible drag racer. its seen 11.2's but not with me behind the wheel.

Everyone here knows I'm not a bragger, but I feel like I'm a pretty decent driver NOW. since the last IFO i've had plaenty of seat time and i've learned how to actually drive. On the other hand, Im like Linux/Kenny, slipping clutch, stupid transmission etc, I need to adjust my racing map for my 93pump and E85 race set-up so I can run through the 1/4 w/o running out of gear, bald tires, amongst other things. But, I can say that high 10's low 11's will happen by the next IFO. And I'm wishing the rest of you hit your desired goals as well. After looking and listening to most of you guys set-ups, we all should be in the 11's and 12's with a little bit of tweaking (even if it's a driver mod). PLUS people are starting to doubt what Evos can do!!!!

This season I'm going to take it easier on the launches and concentrate on being smoother throughout the run, I know the car is capable of low 1.6 60' on my crappy street tires, but I think what I lose on the launch can be made up on the big end, especially when I've got shift bushings and front motor mount, then I can try my NLTS. After studying my logs, I'm easily loosing 1/2 to 3/4 of a second to respooling that friggin turbo.

edit: SoEvoL, I had to ask about that. The guy seemed pretty cool, it was actually a roll race after IA last year.... it didn't end well for him
