Gulfcoast Autocrossers is having their event this weekend in Fort Myers. It is a mile long autocross on an old airfield. It's fast, fun and extremly competitive.

There is also an autocross in Miami on the 21st at the Hialeah Horsetrack.

If anyone wants to see how well the Evo's can run, Bring your or watch mine. I'm more than glad to help you out.

 

I will be at the Hialeah Racetrack to watch. That will be fun.

By the way who is sponsoring it?

 

would regular lancers be able to compete?

 

so where exactly is the hialeah horsetrack place at? Cuz I would REALLY want to go/participate.

I am not certain what class the regular lancer es would run in, but the EVO runs in A-Stock. This puts it up against the Boxsters, C5 Corvettes and others. So far it has been classified right.

Events like this at the local level ususally aren't sponsered by companies. The SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) is a partner with the ER Club.

The horse track is east of the turnpike and west of I-95 in Hialeah. I can't give really specific directions as I don't go there that often
