Typical Pensacola, came here for college, did the whole look around down at bayfront over the years and nothing really here, Pensacola just is to poor to support more expensive cars. As long as there are a few of you Evo guys in Pcola, it will never die. Thank God we have the Navy base here which brings in the guys with cash. Take care

 

Yea i dont own a evo any more did when i lived in San Diego. But looking at maybe geting another one i own a S2000CR now. Been to the Saturday meets 2 times full of a bunch of young kids that know nothing about cars. I kept geting asked to race. So i was like ok next auto cross event in Alabama im down. Then they say i mean on the streets im like you mean drag racing. Well if any one knows any thing about cars my NACR is slow in the straights, I mean come on its a 4cyl that is not FI who in there right mind would even want to race that in a straight line. But i work on NAS and have for almost 2 years i will be here for about another year. Like i said hopefully some time in the next year i can pick up another evo i need one have a dog and with my GF it gets cramped in the S.

 

I used to travel to pcola all the time but Ive never really noticed much of a scene. Most of the time im there for the fishing.

 

1.5 more months of gayness then ill be home and order more car parts!

 

Nice to know there are a Few Evos Rolling around. I am looking at Getting my Orders to Eglin finally after I get out of Afghanistan this Oct and back to Guam to Pack up all my Stuff. Are there any Good 1/4 Mile Tracks around? I was Stationed at Eglin before but I was going through EOD school and I was Building up my 3000GT VR4. I am looking forward to some of those open backroads for my EVO.

 

closest 1/4 i know of is like 2hours away in Montgomery . but there are plenty of back roads here to play with. but there is an 1/8 mile track in holt right off the interstate. its between fwb and pensacola.

 

Sometime we will have to set up a meet at the track, it would be cool to see how many Evo's we could get out there to tear up all the annoying mustang drivers.

 

Sounds good Man..... I would love to Rape some Rustangs. I am going to be going to a 6262 if my Turbo doesnt get me into the 10s when I get back to the states. I would love to Embarrass those Stang Drivers. With the 6262 I might be able to hit 9's. Can we get E85 down there?

 

Hey guys i should get back in the states really soon! Let me know if yall are going to meet up at any of the tuesdays at the swamp, saturdays at bayfront, of after i get my car put together with a good tune definatly a friday at holt. Hopefully i will be running in the 8.25 range soon.

 

ill be down for whatever but i def wont be racing at holt. not till i get a new clutch lol
