Sup guys! Im here TAD for about 6 weeks and I was wondering if there are any local meets held around here? I've seen a few evo's and sti's around so whats up lets meet up!

 

theres always a big meet at bayfront on saturday nights. but its mainly kids with with pos cars with cool neons and a big fart can. there are a few nice cars up there but its mainly young immature kids.

 

I would come hang out but im stuck half way across the world

 

Yeah some subaru guys told me about that meet. Ill probably be rolling up there with them just to check it out. Do you plan on going? I dont want to be the only evo, lol.

nah i wont ever go there again. i went there once and a fight broke out and one of them fell into this kids STI and left a huge dent in his door. ill pass on all that nonsense ;p

 

Gotcha! That's making me think twice about going! Too bad there isn't an all evo meet around here away from all that nonsense!

 

Yeah, i think the only place is there though. unless you go to the beach for the late night runs.
But i havnt been there in 7yrs.

 

there are a few evo viii and ix that go. so you wouldnt be the only one

 

I went to bayfront a month ago and there was a nice Evo 8 and Evo 9. I know another guy that has a nice evo 8 torn to pieces and i have a contact with a guy who works to Pensacola NAS that has an Evo X. <-- That was the guy i bought my intercooler and intercooler piping from.

I guess there are just not enough crazy people around the area with enough time to read these boards

 

Yeah I guess so. Theres a lot of subie guys on the local boards but no evo guys except you two. I didnt go this past sat but ill have to check it out before I go back to houston.

 

There are a few of us out here in p-cola area. usually the bay front thing starts around 930ish for us more mature people that go out there and then another spot is picked for later on to hang to try to lose a lot of the non wanted people around. i haven't been out there in awhile. but there are actually quite a few evos around including myself.

 

I will make my way there on Saturdays once I am stationed at Eglin...my folks live in Pensacola and thats where I lived for 19 years so it wil be nice to come home and flaunt a hobby that I developed away from home. Always wondered what it would be like to roll around the gulf coast again in my Evo...looking forward to it!

 

cool man always more evos are welcomed. you use to be down on the gulf coast area before if i recall.

 

Yeah born and raised in Pensacola...went to PHS for my freshman year and finished out at Escambia. Left for the Air Force in 1998 after some classes at PJC and getting into some trouble lol...been trying to make it back ever since I left in Oct of 1998!! Now I will finally make it back...never thought I would see the day!

 

Enjoy bayfront and the kids always trying to do stupid things! lol Ive seen alot of Evos and Stis at TGI Fridays, dont know if you guys go there anymore. Evos have always caught my eye, loved them.
