Wow nice, what dealer you get it at? I am located in the Marietta area. There are a couple Evos around here.

Thanks for the replys, I got it at Peachtree Mitsu, they were great to deal with.

 

I went there and they had a $3,000 mark up on ALL their EVOs...did you pay that?

 

Nope, they dropped that quick, got invoice...

Good choice in the color. I have a white evo also, but live south of
atl in columbus currently. I hope to make it this weekend to the meet saturday.

 

What a coincidence!

I was just there last weekend and was able to do a test drive. (Amazing car!)

Was browsing around here just looking for any gotchas.

I'm waiting on the payout from totalling my last car so I wasn't ready to buy then, but they freely admitted they would do invoice.

Too bad the Subie place declined the opportunity to impress me with the STi - their loss. It would have to be a major step up in feel over the "regular" model they did let me drive as I just wasn't impressed with it. The EVO's gearbox and chassis manners felt much better to me.

Jerome also helped me, but Damon is a huge fan of these cars and was able to give a great demo of the thing before letting me take over.

I still haven't decided which car to replace my Cougar with, but I gotta tell ya - the Evo impressed the hell out of me. Especially after having just tested a relatively wimpy RX-8.

Granted I have only owned the car almost two weeks, but I know I made the right decision. I looked at the RX8, STI, IS300, and a few others; you just cannot touch the performance of this car regardless of $$$ IMO (within reason). As far as Peachtree Mitsu goes, they were all cool over there. It was nice to have a good experience with a dealer after all the negative you hear on here.

 

Did they have any other white ones there? Do you think they could get me a white one? If not im gonna get the red one at Team Mitsu.

 

When I was there they had two white ones, not sure if they still do. I looked at the red one at Team in Roswell as well, I live right near it, the only reaosn I did not buy there was the trade-in on my old car was too low! Peachtree just gave me a better price. The salesman at Team was a good guy as well, his manager just would not give me the deal I needed.....

 

I got my silver from Team mitsu for 28,000 even with big wing and sunroof. Talk with a person by the name of Cory I think, super cool big black guy. NO bs from them I said 28,000 and they said sold. If you need more help let me know and I can go with. They are off of Throton Road by 6 flags if I remember right.
