That sucks like everyone says. I have a Viper alarm and locking lug nuts, but it does not sound like it completely prevents someone from taking what they want.

I will have to check into the tilt sensor because without that it does not sound like my alarm will work either?

BTW I did have $150 Rays locking lugs on the wheels. Didn't matter one bit. Esp, if they had a key.

Sadly, any thief can go to Auto Zone and buy a set of sockets to remove whatever lugs you have.

It really sucks that they took your wheels man. On the bright side, try to get insurance to pay for OE wheels and tires. Even with your $100 deductible, you should have enough to get a nice set to replace them.

I also live in a "good" area, and my wheels were stolen off my Civic in my driveway.

Unfortunately, in my experience, for every good-natured human, there are 20 more who would just as soon chloroform you, pump you full of secret sauce, and use your shirt to clean themselves off...

Good luck to the OP...

bro, I live in a very nice gated community. $1400 a month. Bimmers, Mercs, a Bentley, a Lambo Gillardo sometimes. All these cars share a garage with me.....doesn't matter. Guys like this come to neighborhoods like ours to find just these sort of wheels. There is a much bigger market for Advans that fit an evo vs. Lambo rims.

Damn.. Gated and they still got in, any idea on how they got through? Forced entry? When I move out I was planning on living in a gated condo complex, but now I'm not as enthusiastic about it.

Man, no where is secure now a days. They could have followed someone in. Or even had a friend buzz them in. Any number of ways. Gates don't mean **** now a days.
