My Evo IX Stolen - Broward FL

Around 9 am this morning, I woke up to look outside and noticed my car was Gone! I am at a lost of words at this moment. It was an grey 2006 Evo Ix Se. I'm sure you guys have seen pics of it or I will post some up in a while. If anyone is from the Miami or fortlauderale area, please be on the look out for a grey Evo with a huge scratch on the driver door

Sorry to hear man.

Did the car have an alarm?

I always layer the security. Some old tricks from the Honda days. Basically without a tow truck or dragging my car away it will not be stolen by starting it and driving away.

Pretty easy to get around the immobilizers these days so layer the security guys and gals

I had a viper alarm. It doesn't seem like they broke in.. Even though they were kinda enough to leave "glass" on the floor.

Simple. Spare ECU modded with no immobilizer. There are a couple ways to do it but Plug in spare ECU, manipulate ignition wires, and your off and running.

Unfortunate man.

Now if they had to spend 2 hours tracing wiring to figure why it still wont start they would have given up. Yea you car would be hacked a little but still there

I actually found out who did it. One of the most noticeable parts turned up. They slipped big time!

I found out because a friend told me he recoganized my wheels on a craigslist ad. Surely those were it. Traced the wheels back to the person who did it and the all the people involed. Believe me, there's nothing more I would like then to get back. But they are in hiding.
