Hey guys!

I chime in every few months or so... but I always read this thread (since I get emailed daily on the content).

I noticed that I have not put out the Annual i4Evo BBQ on Evo-M... shame on me! LoL

In less than two weeks, we will be meeting up at Honeymoon Island State Park for our annual BBQ. You can come and eat and drink for free, but it would be appreciated if you brought something to grill and share with the group.

By "drink" I mean drinks that are rated "G." This is a state park, so no alcohol is permitted.

This BBQ is an excellent chance to meet other enthusiasts from the Tampa Bay area. However, it is not limited to those people only. We have people from all over come down and enjoy the lovely beach, flora / fauna, BBQ, and of course... our rides!

This BBQ is not for just anyone. It is only for those that WANT to be there. How do I know if you WANT to be there? Well, unless you are from Dunedin, it is quite a drive. Next, as it is a state park, you must PAY to enter. It is PREFERRED that you bring your Evo. Finally, you are willing to introduce yourself and learn about what we do individually as well as collectively.

On February 1st, 2014, two waves of us saturated a meet at Tampa Mitsubishi. I don't remember the total count, but we had a good turn out. My 2002 Evo VII took "Best Mitsubishi." (Thanks for coming out, Tig).

Evolution Escape is a way for us to come together outside of our normal "stomping grounds" and enjoy some camaraderie, food, sun, and the stars of the BBQ... our EVOS!

Man that day (The night you wont Best Mitsubishi) was one for the books bro! I would say I'm all in but everytime I am just about to get my kah back sumethin stoopid happens and it usually results in someone getting fired or otherwise cut off at the knees. I just don't have patience for sub par performance... unless you don't get paid for the work that you do (meaning you work for free). Anyway this sounds like a real good deal all around, and if I'm not TDY somewhere I'll be there even if I have to come thru in the rental (another long story).

The BBQ was great. It was a little smaller this year than the three preceding years, but that is mainly to the fact that the date kept changing this year. All in all, Mark and Evonne were presented for an award for their outstanding sacrifices and contributions to the i4Evo community over the past few years.

Don't have an Evo anymore, but maybe in a few months, so I still lurk to see what's up. Anyway, I saw this flyer today at the base exchange, looks like the annual base car show will be on 12 Apr 2014, from 1100-1500 (3PM). I'll be outta town, but thought you guys should know.
