Clutch Install help! free BEER!! =D

Hi all! My name is Ted and I drive an 03 Evo.

Heres my problem simple and sweet, My clutch is gone (cant even go over 20 mph)

The reason im making this post is to see if there is anyone out there that either knows a trust worthy mechanic around the Wilmington NC area or if theres any one with experience in clutch installs that wants to make some money and FREE BEER!!! Believe me the last thing i want to do is low ball anyone but I recieved the car with a slipping clutch. this is my first evo and I didnt know, and the price qoutes from nearby mechanics are in the $900 dollar range for a clutch install? is that right?

Please no newbie bashing I am simply seeing if theres anyone out there that can help I am located 20 mins from Wilmington NC. of course if you can I will do my best to make it worth your while. Thanks for your time reading and hope to hear from you guys!

-Ted

call up force fed performance or spec-ops, they are both around fayetteville and have worked on many evos and could help you

Good Luck with the install.

Shop labor time is 10 hours.

But a specialty shop will most likely get you better pricing.
Too bad your not up here, I've got 3 clutches to do for "friends".

if you have the money, pay someone to do it. I did my last one with a friend ( he did most of it lol) and it was no joke. 9 hours and he has done quite a few.

Good luck

I would PM Justn at ForceFed and get a quote from him.

If you can't pay his price I'm sure there are people around the Jacksonville area that could do it for less. If it were me though I would gladly pay for the peace of mind considering I've heard it's kind of a pan in the ***.
