4:30pm get up & drive down I85, 485 up Independence Blvd. taking pictures & video recording.

There also the UFC 129 fight going on that night GSP vs Jones so those who want to stay that should work out just fine or...

no i dont, portable awd is hard to get and expensive. Mustang brought one to PRI but that is a high dollar rental just for a daily event. Might wanna see if everyone would like this to be like a two day event with like saturday being a dyno day somewhere local and then a meet sunday.

 

Hey are you guys willing to meet in Charlotte/Concord @ Buffalo Wild wings & then drive to six-sigma dyno in Concord for some pulls (need 20 car min.)

 

Ok it's set for Saturday March 19th 2011 so some of our Armed force guys can make is since serveral of the guys are deploying the 1st week of April.Now how many are willing to need or need their car dynoed? I'm thinking about doing something like $200 for the highest HP want you guys think of that?

 

Ok I talked with John over @ six-sigma. He stated that we need a 10 car minimum @ $50 per car for 3 pulls. He also told me that if you have DSM-Link & want to tune it yourself we can do that, but you guys will go last.
I spoke to the manager @ Buffalo Wild Wings in Concord 10 minute drive & Charlotte/Matthew on Independence which is a 35 minute ride on 485 & we have the thumbs up on both location. What I'm asking now from you guys is which location?
Now as for evening fun if you guys want to do that, we can hit Uptown & do whatever. http://ncmusicfactory.com/

I'll drive out from Raleigh for this, put me on the list for dyno. The Charlotte/Mathew B-dubs would be closer to where i'd be staying so one vote for that location.

 

Johns a cool guy and that shop is very nice and neat thats where I went when I got my car tuned! I just may head there for this meet since its at bww my fav place to eat lol

 

Been trying to get something like this done for a couple years now. I really think it would be worth the effort to try and make this an annual event. There is enough of an Evo base in NC & SC to really make this bigger and bigger every year. Eventually pulling other people from other states as well. Done at the right time of year, we have the perfect weather for this sort of thing. There are ton of possibilities for this kind of meet.

As far as a vote for location, it doesn't really make difference to me. Concord would be a little closer for me, but I'm not really worried about extra driving. Either location would be fine. I think the thing to look at would be, where is there more space.

If you need any help making phone calls, planning, or setting things up, please PM me. I would be all in. I would really like to see this meet go over well and grow into something great. There is a lot of potential for this to go bigger and better every year.

 

Sounds good so far. I would probably wont do the dyno pulls, this is the weekend following Road Atlanta for me so I don't want to push the car more than I have to in a 2 week span.
