I'm in the process of sending all the documentation I had and the invoices of all the parts that were installed on the Evo. Car hasn't shown up. It's a 50-50 chance (with evos) it will according to the claims rep.
I've started to look around for another one in case mine doesn't show up.

I live in an apartment building and I was recently parking my Evo outside in the street although there is a driveway I can use. Then one morning the owner of the building next to mine came to me to tell me that he had an emergency in his building in the early morning hours and had to stop by. He said it was around 4:30 a.m. and as he was driving past my building when he saw four thugs (won't mention race/skin color so no one calls me a bigot) checking out my car and flashing lights to see inside of it. When the thugs saw him they went inside there white Honda and drove away. He said that they ended up driving around my block 4 times and never came back. Maybe God was looking over my car that night. From that night on I park my Evo in the driveway.
Before this car, I owned a civic hatch. That got stolen. I would hate to go through that again.
Most car thieves take it for a joy ride. Your car is probably sitting outside someone's house right now. I hope the cops get it back and they lock this POS up for life! Question is how did this POS know to come looking where you live? Wonder if it was one of your neighbors? If you get her back invest in the Club or a brake/clutch lock. I know some will laugh but those things will make a car thief think twice.
Good luck with your car man.
Everyone else- BUY AN ALARM! and install a JDM map sensor. If someone bypasses your immobilizer by using their own ECU, it would have to be set up to use the JDM map, or else it wouldn't start.

Moor guns, less crime.
I feel like theft is a violent crime, if for no other reason than I would like to shoot someone if they try to steal my car. Silent alarms that go off on your keychain by your bedside were invented for people like me just waiting for an excuse to shoot someone.
Sorry about the theft man, hope they get caught, you get your car back, and possibly they get "shanked" in prison.

feel your pain man. Mine got stolen about two years ago and never saw it again. Luckily I found another one and got more than just an alarm installed
your not to far from me so I'll have to keep an extra set of eyes on mine again
