BTW, a co-worker of mine said he spotted a blacked out X wrecked near downtown west a few nights back. That wasn't you, was it?!?

 

Nope, wasn't me. I wonder if it was really an X and not a rally art, or lancer. Not sayin it couldn't be, but I've only saw one other black X and that was about 2 or 3 years ago.

You should come to this meet, the next one is in march. It's too bad sportscar frenzy died isn't it.

 

Could have been another lancer trim, whatever the case, he said it was messed up pretty good.

It is a shame, although I haven't had much time to do car stuff for the past couple of years. I'm just now starting to stockpile parts, I'm hoping to have everything done by the time summer rolls around since I will be moving in July and my budget will be nonexistent again.

 

Just ran across this post. I was at this event but didn't pull the Evo in due to ripping half my lip off on the way there. Zlayer, you and I have chatted on another local forum.

All us Knoxville Evo guys should meet up, love to meet you guys. I met and chatted a while with the guy that owns the blue 8 in your pics, he'd be up for it. Would you guys be interested?

 

Ya, I just talked to ramen about getting an evo meet going. The Subaru guys do it at the walker springs sonic on Wednesdays during summer, so we should do something similar. If we can get the word out it wold be great. Let me know if you get something organized. And I'll do the same.

I'm usually down for whenever, trying to wrap up some projects on the car this week so I'll have a little extra free time, at least before I install the EBCS and kick off some mad t00ning sessions. Wish I had the extra cash for a TBE so I could make some noise!

 

Nice pics. I need to make it to one of these meets. I've met up with the Subie guys since I AX with a couple of them. Hoping to see some other Evos, have only seen a few at AX. Ramen Noodle, I might have a 3" downpipe still sitting around that I wouldn't want much for if you find a catback to go with it.
