I didn't make it to z-hills show. Decided to save the money to spend on the car. Found out there is another evo around. Apparently there is a yellow one that was just purchased in Ft Myers. We definetly have to get in touch with some more owners and have a little meet sometime.

Just got a lock on my new rims today. They should ship on Monday if all goes as planned. Ordering a set of Kumos to go on them. I have been searching for rims for 3 months and finally I found them. 18x8.5 Work Emotion CR I think the bronz is going to look sick on a yellow EVO. Check them out.

Seriously if you are considering rims start lookong early the offset is really hard to meet and everything that fits is really expensive.

Well guys, finally got the new rims and mounted them today. Happy as hell. The guys at vividracing were awsome and they hooked me up. Hopefully this will give the thread a bump also and we can get a few more of the EVO's around us on here.

hmmm i should be invading around late may-june... its funny that there arent that many of u around there. well maybe it makes sense since you dont really need AWD there. well anyway, if things go well my evo will be my beater and i'll have another somewhat exotic car.

 

I am still around, when we having a get-together. I will moving into my house on Marco Island around May 1st, maybe a barbeque is order.

I will be coming down slightly after may 20th when my finals end. If all goes well, My dad will drive my evo down and i'll be staying there permanently. Wouldnt mind meeting new people in the area and having someone show me around, because...Jersey is 2000miles from FL LOL. Its cool that there are like 6 of you evo's out there...makes the car rare. My cousin is opening up a luxury/exotic car dealership in fort myers. Frey Motor Cars. I should be working with him, so if anyone needs a nice car at a great price..look me up. Also if anyone needs a ride in a ferrrari... haha..hope to meet all of you guys soon. ps..where is the nearest drag strip and road course? I'd love to do some tracking with this car...which will soon be my beater

plans changed i'll be there around june 3rd...im getting my own apartment etc... Anyone still out there? would like to meet up with some of you guys etc...where do you guys get your parts from down there? any good local shops? i want to get my cams, head studs, IC, piping, and 02 housing done after i get settled

 

I'm still here. We had a meet last weekend at Bradenton Raceway. As for shops in the area, they are few and far between. I also want to get cams done along with some other items. I know a mechanic here at Harbor Nisson who does Tuner work. Keep in touch, I am planning on having him do my work, the work he has done for me to date has been great. how far is that raceway? is that a drag or road course track? I'll have to do my own investigating, im sure i can find someone down there who is also in the business.

 

are there any AWD dynos around there? that sux im not going to be able to get my utec tuned with the new mods huh? maybe i'll just sell it and get a turbo'd vette or something...its disappointing, because im only 45 minutes from Turbo Trix right now, and they tune like crazy and can install everything does secret services have an AWD dyno?

 

Drag Course, the guys are also investigating a couple of autocross possibilities. I've heard there is one in tampa. Make sure you check out the tampa bay evo thread. That is where you will find most of the info of what is going on down here. There are not many evo's You and I have probably been the most active in this thread. West coast of florida = old peple. I moved here from Seattle, this is a different planet. We'll hook up when you get here. I do most of the shows in the area.
