Evo VS SC'd Is300
Careful with street racing!!
I met a guy with evo this weekend that pays nearly $5000 a year for car insurance because he was pulled over for suspicion of street racing.
Also there is person in atlanta with cams, turboback exhaust,intake and tuned ECU that has smoked a ZO6, modded STI and almost evry car on the road. The EVO tunned is no joke but IS300 with mods will have more high end torque than stock evo so it should pull unless the driver sucks. A better race would be an EVO with cams. I saw a dyno this weekend where an evo with cams had 288 pounds of torque to wheels at 4000 RPM's at 20PSI. Can you imagine what car will do at 22PSI with no cat?
The EVO owner will pay a lot less to get power than an Is300 owner. No dispesct to IS300 since I have seen the 500hp car in Modifiedcar magazine that was a beast.
