My gawd, it looks pretty good, never seen the evo like that, I was f*cking pissed when they didn't have the Evo at the Washington DC Auto Show, bastards. Anyway man, if that's US Spec, which I highly doubt, its exactly like the Jpn version, heck that IS the jpn spec evo.

 

nice pix. I can't wait to drive one of those. Thats definitely the Euro-spec version (I think people forget that Mitsu releases LHD Evos in most of europe, because a lot of european countries drive on the right side of the road). Does anyone know the state of the FMIC and the US spec EVO? I really hope they keep it, 'cause replacing it (if it becomes a side-mount) with an FMIC would be sort of pricey....

 

Let's just hope that they import the car as is!

 

Just came back from vacation from SoCal.
Was able to drop by the LA Auto Show.
Man, that yellow Euro EVO is sweet. But it was a disappointment because you cannot get close to it at all. The only ones you could look closely was the badly modified "EVO want to be".

I thought the new fun car was from BMW.
The M3 shown has the SMG option. [NOT the SMG2 though].
I thought the new MINI Cooper is very cool.

The Cooper S has 163HP with a 1.6L engine and a supercharger. That thing looks like it will fly because it weights just a little above 2300 lbs. Got traction control and DSC too.

What did you guys that went to the show thought was cool?

 

yeah i went to the L.A. auto show, they didnt let you get close to the EVO at all it sucked i wanted to sit in it. o well.. but anyways the guy told me that the car i saw there is the car the u.s. will be getting and that it is "definitly" coming in january of 2003... but i dont know if i beilive him.

the montero EVo is pretty weird looking not that bad though looks like it would be fun to drive off road..
