Where did you here it was shutting down? I picked up some driveshaft bushings the other day and the shop was packed with cars. Maybe things aren't as they seem

Hey guys. Just wanted to clear up some confusion. AWD Motorsports will be shutting down, but only the service department. We will no longer be working on cars and will focus solely on our online sales division. We will still be an active vendor on this site and we will continue to provide you guys with our knowledge and unbeatable prices.

Sorry, do you mind elaborating why (totally understand if you don't want to/ can't)? You guys make some of the best evo's in the business and I always hate to see good shops go away.

Derek is taking over this account on here to handle sales but this is Mike the owner.

I have no problem elaborating.. Servicing cars is a very stressful part of shop ownership and after 7 years i have decided i dont want to continue on in the stressful part of this industry.. AWD motorsports was my personal hobby shop that turned into a business by locals asking to get their cars worked on.. It was not something i planned on doing. With 2 other successful businesses that have very very low amounts of stress and great profit i have decided to cut the service end.. All current customers cars have been delivered and i have even been able to restructure things so all the employees still have a job within the companies so its a win win for everyone here.. I feel bad for the loyal customers who have supported us over the years but i cant continue on in a business i dont enjoy anymore unfortunately..

The name hasnt changed nor has the respect as stated above. We were PACKED with work til the day i decided to close.. Customers are panic in this area now and messaging me non stop but i have to stick to my guns and do whats best for me personally moving forward.. Dont be fooled 90% of the shops out there if they had something as lucrative as the shop they own they would be closed too.. Matter of fact the name is still so respected that many BIG NAME shops have made offers to buy it but im not selling the name.. WE still ship over 300 packages a day and operate at a very nice profit as AWD Motorsports..

Mike

I can speak for Mikes service department as well as their on-line parts support. I am one of many customers who received excellent service and support with my project. Sad to see that part of the buisness go but continue success

Sucks to see this happen. The garage sale now makes a whole lot of sense.
