Lets do it again this friday at commerce.


I am going up to Commerce with a buddy of mine that has a silver evo. I plan to leave work at 4pm so I can get there early and do a few runs. We can meet at Boost Solutions around 4:45pm but will have to leave by 5:00 pm. If you can't go to Boost Solutions than I will see you there. Hopefully there will be a few STI's there.

If you get there eary the first three runs go quick

Ended Up Getting the Cusco Clutch... We'll see How it works...

Import Showdown is in less than 2 weeks so I am going to hold off on going to the track till them. I get better times at SDR anyways.

I guess me and my Buddy and me are the only two EVO's going.
It will be fun friday. I plan to run with pump gas at 21PSI to see what my car will do on the street. I got a new shift knob which makes shifting easier.

Were is everyone in Atlanta

 

I will be there at the strip with my Evo. Nothing new to try out, except trying to learn a little more about tuning at the strip. My wife will be there trying out some new BFG drag radials on her Mach1. Looks like it's going to be good weather for it.

 

Snoop I also will be coming just to watch but as usual I have to work till around 5pm then I will be heading your way.

 

Head up to Columbia afterwards and head up to the autox with us! 3 evos in Columbia so far goin'....

 

The trip to the dragstrip was a lot of fun. MYEVOVIII, YelEvo, snoop and myself were there plus another silver Evo (I'm sorry, I cannot remember the owners name, Help me here Snoop )
Anyway, a lot of fun was had by all and the EVOs showed their stuff quite well Some ran and others "watched".
There were a couple of SRT4's there as well as lots of other cars. The Silver SRT4 ran a very respectable 13.7. It was supposedly stock.
The good news for me is that I managed a gain of 1.3 seconds off the ET and nearly 10 mph more trap speed than the last time I went to the dragstrip. The bad news is that my driving still sucks but with time I'm sure I can improve. my runs were with the street map, pump gas and 20 psi of boost. Next time I hope to have a race map for C16 as well as 3 psi more..... Anyway, I was the fastest EVO tonight, I still need to get some details worked out to beat Ryan's 12.9 second run, but I think I can do it
