Tunerfest Shootout June 19th Atlanta
If you want to see somebody that works on his own car and drives it to and from the track check out George's evo. Or any number of people that will be there that work on thier own cars.

Hopefully George will bring his car he has never ran it at any track that I know of though. Maybe we will see how it performs and hopefully he wont have any problems. I think he got some new intercooler clamps and I know he added a new Tomei timing belt. So we will see how quick it is if he comes. George are you going to come and run your Evo????. It has the whp lets see if you can make an 11 sec pass.

all the Evo owners who so far have decided to come all work on there own Evo's and are daily drivers. Not sure what your point was you where trying to make with that statement?

i am just saying that al has accomplished a lot for one guy.no shop backing him, and still very consistant low 11's.i'm sure someone is going to come out soon and run 10's beside turbotrix,and probrably 9's.al's car is just a great example of a perfectly put together evo.

New intercooler piping, new timing belt, and some good tires
I thought 502whp on a DD should be better than 11sec?

Hey guys,
I'll finally be able to get the EVO out again and see how it does since I get it back next week. I haven't been around or talked to many of you in awhile becuase I've had a few months of down time on the EVO after it got into a wreak and didn't get fixed right. After 4 trips back I finally had to have the insurence go after them after they blew up my transfere case, some more of the drivetran, and my twin plate Exedy with less then 2000 miles. Well, the new shop has done some major work and it should be killer with a full 3' in all the way from the downpipe (you can see the flames at night) a custom built cold air intake, reworked BOV, Buscher Front mount, boost controler and all the things I had done before. I hope to hang with all of ya soon and will keep ya updated.

trskitEvo8 great news hope you are able to come. Hopefully this will be our biggest meet so far. See you guys there I am working on more details for this Shootout.
