I'll try and be there tonight. Getting rid of Turbo XS boost controller (major boost creep) and installing Hallman today along with Walbro 255 fuel pump and just got my ECU back in. So when all parts are inatalled I'll be up. Does anyone have an extra helmet I can borrow for Saturday or use their's when their in line or if they are not racing? Also anyone who might be just showing or showing up and not racing I'll pay for your addmission if we can swap wheels (yours being stock) for the strip. Mine are heavy 18's w/crappy tires and I want to get the best run I can. It'll reaaly work if your entering show and need a good looking set of wheels to win! Here's a pic:

I have helmut and Todd has one. I would also ask MYEVOVIII if his buddy has an extra you can borrow. I have to order a fule pump this week and will need to put it in so let me know had your install goes.

Peace,
Snoop

I ran at Commerce tonight (Friday). Track was not as good as last week, but still managed a 13.284 on my last run. Mostly 13.5's. Only used 93 octane tonight, but don't know about tomorrow. I don't know whether to use only 93 octane tomorrow with the temps forcasted.

I would like to say thanks to all the Evo's that showed up Saturday to prove that Evo's are not just road course race cars, they are drag race cars also.

I tried to see if I could run the same et in the hot 90+ degree temps on Saturday as I ran in cooler air Friday night. I came close. My quickest et on Saturday was a 13.309 with a 1.77 60'. That was pretty good considering the air was a lot worse Saturday. The corrected density altitude was 2306 Saturday compared to 1310 on Friday night (963 is almost perfect for Commerce). Track temps were in the 114-121 degree mark.

This was done with the stock (no flash) ecu and stock clutch (74 passes down the 1/4). The car is running a tune that George at Boost Soulutions did about 4 months ago. Thanks George!

Main point being I can't wait until I get the money to have George change the clutch and retune for the weather.

It was great to see the number of Evo's that were Saturday. I do believe we all made our presents known. It also was great to see the other Evo's that were faster than mine.

The only reason there is no mention of mph is all drag racers know mph gives bragging rights, but et (and rt) wins races.

had a great time, the bike accident was kinda upsetting, but accidents are accidents i just hope he makes it.

on a postive note, what was everyone's et?
my best was a 13.70 with my girl in the car, which i thought it was pretty good considering the weather condition...

I had a good time and my best time was 12.4 @ 113 mph which is what I ran at Silver Dollar last month but I was also running 3 more psi on Saturday. Commerce is definately a slower track with the elevation plus the brutal heat didn't help. I was running ok in the morning but my best time was only 12.5 at 110. It was because I am a dumbass and forgot to change my afc settings for the race gas. So I went back in the afternoon and ran back to back 12.4s and called it a day. Anyways, I am confident I can run 11s with new clutch and in cooler weather.

It was great meeting everybody who was able to come. I had a great time although my new name is Lobster Boy. I made the mistake of not wearing any sunblock and 9 hours in the sun did me in pretty bad. I got on hell of a farmers tan I just wish George had been able to bring his Evo to the track I would have liked to see him run his stroked T51R SPL powered Evo. Oh well there always next time.
