cruz

What : High Tach Motorsports , 4th Annual , 5th Anniversary Mountain Cruz .

Where : Cherokee N.C. to Mt. Pisgah N.C. by way of the Blue Ridge Parkway ( Gods Country ) . Cookout at the end of the cruz on top of the mountain .

When : July 10 , 2004 .

Did I mention that there will be 5 on/in cameras , not to mention the helicopter that I will be renting to get WRC style footage .

Hightach.com will have much more info very soon if it isn't there already .

Yeah this is what I was telling you about, we should be departing from Cherokee at 10:00 AM on the 10th. A few of us are getting hotels for friday night so we dont have to drive so far in the morning

had a wonderful time this weekend in the mountains...guys there is nothing like driving in these mountains...i just went threw I-40 all the way to TN from Charlotte, beautiful drive there and back, fun to cruise threw at 80 up and down a mountain..i then had the fun of going threw highway 129 aka the dragon...then through the foothills....some place you just look out and you can see for miles and miles around!! this looks to be a great run!!

sounds like fun how long did it take u? and can u really open it up on there or no? Cops?

I40 there were like no cops after asheville... i went from charlotte to knoxville and it was about a 4 hr trip either way. you really can open the car up and as long as people are curteous drivers they will move out of your way if you are going fast enough. most of the curves through the mountains have a gentle enough slope to were the lancer handled everything at 80 fine....if you are in the parkways and such (where the look outs and stuff are) the only thing you have to worry about is the one or two cops and just remember that if you do get caught at such speeds you might be going to jail since the parks are federal property
