I would like to say that sounds good to me right now. I am hosting a BBQ at my house for family and friends that day, but I would nt expect them to stay so late that I would nt be able to come out. We need a bigger showing though.

What about you Steve?

Sure...the 6th is fine with me...it's Club 1320 that night, so no time slips...test and tune is on the evening of the 5th and the morning of the 7th, if you all want time slips...

I would like to say come on over but it is no one from the board. Just a few of my wife's friends. It's mostly family though. But that is a good idea. Maybe someone can host a BBQ or something to get a clan together and just hang out.

Steve,
If we cant get time slips on the 6th, then I would say either do it SAturday morning or Thursday night. How packed was it for you last time you went? I went once on a Saturday morning. It wasnt too bad becasue many people like to sleep in. The downside is we would only be able to get a few runs in before the morning sun starts to heat up.

Last time I went on a Thursday night, and it was pretty busy...I think that on Friday night you get a time on the board but not a time slip, or you just get a win light...we could try Saturday morning...it would be cooler outside...

friday WILL BE packed.. mad cars go there for the 1320 thing.
thursday night, early (6pm-7pm) or late (10-11pm) are the times when will be less cars..
saturday morning is good.. you can get a lot of runs in, but temps go up fast.

I guess whatever will work the best. This thread doesnt seem to be drawing too much attention. Anyway, the less cars the better anyway right?

You can have timeslips at the 1320 event. It's your choice. Put "N/T" on the car for no slips.

Not according to their website... http://www.bradentonmotorsports.com/...320/index.html

This event will be very informal. We will have minimal staff and parking will be more flexible and open. There will be times displayed on the scoreboard, unless you mark "N/T" on your window, then neither vehicles times will be displayed, only a win light. To help make this easy, we have designated lanes 1,2,3 and 4 if you DO want your times displyed, and lanes 5 and 6 if you DO NOT want your times displayed. (You will still need to mark "N/T" on your drivers side window with shoe polish) We will continue to not give time slips. A choice of Pro Tree or instant green will be used instead of a standard tree.
Maybe we should call them and find out what the deal is for Friday nights...

LOL!!! Read what you posted..

QUOTE: There will be times displayed on the scoreboard, unless you mark "N/T" on your window, then neither vehicles times will be displayed

EDIT: I see.. it's the slip you're after.. I thought time would be enough.. I'm going on 8/6.. I don't need no stinkin proof.

You just had to throw a monkey wrench into it.

Man, I just wanna go to the track when it's not over 80 degrees and 97% humidity!

Well I'm going to go out there if it doesn't rain. And to see your time, when you get close to the finish line just lean real far foward and you should be able to catch you time just as you go past the board. Thats what I do
