It was test and tune night...they dicked around for most of the night cleaning the track...it was so humid...my car was running like crap...my car was so heat soaked waiting in line, I could only manage low 14s at about 97-98 MPH...should be high 12s at 105 MPH...the night was, to put it mildly, teh suck...I can't wait for December...

Omni, it's 746, you got it right the first time.

NOVA, you gotta be able to do better than that. My last time at Bradenton was 1:00pm, sunny, 94 degrees, ~85% humidity, and I still got a 13.7 in the quarter. Were you bogging on the launch? Did you sprey your intercooler down?

We'll hafta make another trip down there. What was your 60' time? Must've been probably about 2.2 judging by the time. Also, that trap is a little low for your mods, did you miss a shift or anything?

nova,
i was there talking to you with the silver evo. after you left i made a couple runs and got lucky with the launch and got 13.4 twice. my friend that was driving my car got a 13.8, we let the car cool off and ran after you left, plus there was about 10 cars left

My car was totally heat-soaked...I'll bet the ECU was pulling timing big time...my 60' was 2.2-2.3 (TEH SUCK!!!) but my MPH should have been over 100...next time, I'm gonna let it cool down more, and hope they don't dick around forever cleaning the track...

Yeah, just think, it will be cooling off in oh say another.. 4 months! Welcome to humid *** FLA.

We need to get down there during one or the night time events. I'm pretty curious what mine will be doing. I can't wait to find out!

Hey Steve,
We'll need to block off a date and time in advance so I dont get into trouble with the wifey to go down to the track. Does anyone know if Bradenton speedway changed their policy to require a helmut to run 13's? Before you had to be in 12's to wear a helmut.

If they took forever cleaning the track how was your car heat-soaked? Were you letting it run in the stagging lanes?
