fast and furious meet
just got home from seeing this movie.
i have a question (no spoilers, dont worry)
where exactly does this movie fit in the FnF series? It seems like it is the story before Tokyo Drift (Han dies in Tokyo Drift, but he was alive in this one).
but i see a goof here, if this was before tokyo drift, it means it is pre 2006. so how is it that Oconner could pick a R35 GT-R, and him having the 09 STI later, when these cars should not even exist back then?!?!

...just watch it...enjoy it...and then do a burn out in the parking lot on your way home. lmao
Well... it didn't really fit into the F&F series IMO... It was a good movie but as far as story line goes... it didn't make a lot of sense.
In #2 Brian and Roman say they're gonna kick it in Miami and open a garage... now Brian's back in LA for some reason? lol
Soo ya... I liked it but I didn't love it.
I saw the 2008 Lancer though for a split second! (KRU's car, he posts on LT.com all the time)

i have to say my favorite car was the Silvia S15 owned by the asian dude who Dom threatened to kill.
and damn, Dom's sister behind the wheel of a black NSX?
HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTT
im with ya on that s15 that and the r34 did it for me,2 cars id kill to get my hands on
after browsing around FnF threads all over the internet.. i have concluded with the thesis of how the timeline/story line might have been:
SPOILERS UP AHEAD:
The beginning scene (stealing gasoline): We see Han here. This is clearly pre 2006 Tokyo Drift. This scene is actually the "prequel" to this movie.
There is X number of years where Dom and the gang are M.I.A. and this is where it gets confusing a little bit:
- Did Dom go abroad during these missing years? Was part of this time spent in Japan? Recall the ending of Tokyo Drift, when Dom races that Southern accent dude who beat Drift king and took the title for himself.
- Or was the ending scene in Tokyo Drift AFTER what happened in this new FnF movie? I say this because having busted Dom out from prison (not technically in prison yet, but he was on his way), he would have brought even more heat on himself (if that's even possible to begin with). Dom knew there was no way he could stay in America, so he headed to Japan to find Han.
This would tie the FnF4 movie somewhat parallel to Tokyo Drift in terms of sequence, possibly occurring a bit earlier than Tokyo Drift.
Thoughts?
