Reliable mitsu dealership in GTA

Hey! I just recently bought 09 Lancer SE and looking for a good, trustworthy mitsubishi dealership to service it at. I got it from Dixie Mitsubishi but lets just say i was not happy with them and now im just looking for another dealership anywhere in the GTA that has good service and reliable mechanics. Anyone can give an advice based on personal experience. Like ive read up on these forums some bad things about Pickering Mitsubishi... which dealership do you service your car at and what can you say about it? are you happy with it?
i really dont mind traveling anywhere in the GTA, as long as the dealership takes good care of my car.
Thanks!

Have any issues with servicing at a non-dealer? I get greeeat service at Simone Performance in Newmarket. Excellent service. Warranty work would still have to be done at your dealership though....I use Markham mitsu.

yes i understand your position and i do agree that some non-dealers can actually provide a better service than the dealer but i would still like for my car to be serviced only at the official dealer.

Warranty work would still have to be done at your dealership though
what exactly is meant by "warranty work"? what does it include?

This is the aim of the Mitsu gold program. Dealership will vary. and I hate to say this, but I find dealing with mitsubishi it can be a case of dealership vs. comparing but its also a representative vs. representative. I find it mostly comes down to who your dealing with. Something I dont encounter with other brands like Honda and Mazda who have generally favorable customer service and satisfaction. Mitsubishi needs to understand that their are two many variations at the dealer level. Some dealerships are very uniform while others are very very ummm whats a nice word to use. "Our way or the highway" attitude.

I will be announcing shortly a perfered list and as well as a black list for dealerships in terms of sales and service. Some will disagree with this, but rest assured that it will be thru the use of consensus building and also gauging a dealerships commitment to working with our car club.

Members are strongly encouraged to go to the perfered dealerships since we will have at least some influence on their quality. Make sense?

makes perfect sense, thanks. so when will that list of preferred dealerships be coming out? i have to go for my first oil change soon and if it would take a while for you to put together that list would you mind listing a few recommended dealerships and then the complete list would always be a nice expansion.

I am hoping to finalize the list by the 20th of this month. that is the completely arbitrary number i have picked. But I can say that things have been moving smoothly with evolutionm.net and vendors so I am confident that this can be ratified soon.

The perferred list isnt the issue its the blacklisted and non-participating dealerships that are the issue. I have to properly vet each one that has been problematic and find out if they are IN or OUT, of if there is a known issue with them, if they are willing to change their ways.

I am willing to give a clean slate to any dealership in the beginning but if you dont play ball, or play games, I am done. I just dont have time to convince dealerships to comply. you get my point right?

yes i believe i do get your point. but thats not what im asking here. the question is not what dealerships will comly with the club, but what dealerships offer solid, reliable service. even if a dealership does not want anything to do with the TLC (like offering discounts etc) but offers good service then in my books thats a good dealership - what im looking for. of course it'd be better if that dealership would also co-operate with the club but it's not as important as offering good service for our cars.

well dealers that opt out dont really get black listed, its the ones that go outta its way to umm leave a consistent bad taste in customers mouths.

but ya i get what you saying.

The best way to do this is to get some consensus building. A survey rating different factors about the dealership.

Warranty work means if something is broken that should be fixed under warranty. I'v been iffy on servicing from a non-dealer myself. Scared the dealer will still look at the receipts and say that i'v voided my warranty by going elsewhere....even if technically they are not allowed to do that. Can't bother with the hassle.
