i wouldnt recommend spraying it on your hood.. leave that to vinyl

 

Any idea how the plasti dip handles in the cold? It says up to 20 farenheight on the website but has anyone driven in weather colder than that? Like 0-teens? Also any idea if rock salt for snow will damage the paint at below 20 temperature?

 

not yet but there are plenty of test subjects up here who will find out come November

 

Haha, I see, the things we do for a cheap alternative

 

good thing is if it doesnt go thur winter, just spray it on again in spring lol takes literally 1 night lol

and peels right off

 

with 2+ layers, it will go through winter no problem.. if you up it to 4, itll last you for a longlong time

 

i just bought my plasti-dip spray today at Home Depot for $5.98....cant wait to use it

 

ya i bought like 10 cans, they had it on sale a week or so ago, 4 dollars at a US HD. up here in Canada its 15 bucks .
