New Here

Hey guys. New here. Posted a little bit on Lancer Tuners and somebody made mention of the Toronto Lancer Club, so I'm giving it a shot!

I live in Scarborough and have a black 09 Lancer GT. So far I've got tints all around, window deflectors, and plasti-dipped the grille. Hoping to maybe paint the emblems soon, and I'm still waiting for my VG Shark Fin to come in. Apart from that no major plans so far (gotta save the cash).

And seeing as how I mentioned it at Lancer Tuners, I might as well tell you guys that I'm a cop. So any law-related questions you guys might have, I'll be happy to give it my best shot to answer.

Hoping to make some new friends and learn more about Lancer modding!

Just a heads up painting the emblems, the front one is a royal pain in the ***! It doesnt come out of the mesh part of the grille and since its recessed in there its real hard to tape off, take a look before you go ahead with it to see what i mean. Nice car though :P

^ use a heat gun and an exacto knife to slowly pry it off. do one diamond at a time without cracking it. dont heat it too much to melt everything either! lol not really hard to do.

Could I use a hair dryer instead? Or do I need super powered heat from a heat gun?

hair dryer works too

you should take the grille out and do it on away from the car, so u dont accidentally leave it there too long, and warp the paint on ur bumper
