I got a Black GT to, to me it was the best option, to get GTS with sound and sunroof would have been like $3000 more, and to me the bigger engine and rims were not worth it. Also I dont think USA has the GT trim (could be wrong) so thats why you dont see a lot of them on forums and such.

EDIT: Just checked there website and USA does not have the new model line up, they dont get the SE or GT.

 

^^^^ you also get the suspension with the gts aswell , i still think the 2.0 thats in the 08 gts and the 09 gt is better then the 2.4 cuz they dont got the 2.4 in japan

 

How noticeable is the suspension upgrade though? Probably not noticible at all in everyday driving, if I wanted a fast car I would have saved and got a RA :P

 

Try to keep up with me or famous on an on-off ramp and you will see the difference.

hydro makes a good point and also yous be surprised how many cars the gts can take on the track because of its handling , im not talking straight lines im talking a track with some nice turns and twisties

 

Question: What engine does the 09 GT have?

If it has the 4b12 2.4L then thats a total steal, change the 16's for some aftermarket 18's and your set. BUT if the GT's have the 4b11 2.0L, i would say that is justification enought to get a GTS over a GT.

 

Nope, the 09 GT's come with the 2.0L

if i was to choose again...i'd get the es and use the extra money from the GTS n build it up...
but the sun n sound package was jusT SOOO temptingg n cant forget the shady fake carbon fibre trim!
