What is everyone's opinion on the evo x replica body kits? For example the ones like accolade sells which make your lancer look like a actual evo.
I have a guy up here who's interested but I kind of talked him out of it since to me its sort of like being a poser I suppose. Your car looks good but is still no where near the capabilities of an evo...
I email accolade and pricing was to bad.
It was $2450 shipped to your door, duty, brokerage all incl.

Not bad when you factor in your getting a hood, wing, front and rear bumpers fenders front and rear and door fenders.

Just wondered what everyone else thought about the idea..

 

if some one wanted to go that route then its up to them, some people in the evo community think, if you put an mr wing on a regular gsr then you are a poser, but at the end of the day what ever makes the owner of the car happy. from what i heard accolade makes really crappy kits, so maybe a good thing you talked him out of it

 

I agree with raz, If he is willing to blow his money by all means lol... and from others members from Different forums, who purchased the accolade kit, have been having seriouse problem with installation and also quality," but thats what they said "

Why put a body kit on a Lancer. The styling of the Lancer already is one of the best ive seen in a long time minus the trunk (why i went with a Lancer compared to others). I would rather get lip kits to enhance the look or make it more unique, and spend the money on other areas.

To make a GTS look like an Evo is up to the owner but putting ****ty FG or Plastic pieces compared to OEM, its just not worth it.

Side note can a Ralliart bumper fit a GTS ?
