I Just interested in knowing where you think TLC IS GOING.....

What are the Positive Ideas that can be placed

if you have any concerns , please provide with detail information

 

I think to many things where promised to fast and to much for one person to handle. I for one found myself bumping or fizzing old threads that never mounted to anything.

 

i know one thing , with all this drama going on right now , its looking really bad for the club when new members come around , i wouldnt want to join a club if my first impression was what im seeing now , i think in terms of the club we all need to take a step back for a second and think about what ever issues we have and who we have them with and approach it personally instead of making a public display about certain things , if the club wasnt created we all wouldnt know eachother or be here right now talking about this , so we should show some love towards eachother either way , we gotta think about the growth of the club and how much this fighting back and forth and gonna hurt the growth of the club , and while yes i am branching out and doing my own thing im still gonna be as much a part of the club as i am now so i still think about the growth

another thing is money , it brings out the worst in people and when someone feels they got screwd somehow , wether they did or not , then they are gonna make their opinions heard , i think we need someone to step up and take over the money side a things when it comes to group buys/events/fund raising etc and it all needs to be broken down so its clear 100% about where the money goes and making sure it all goes there , once again still a new club and theres alot of kinks to work out

another thing if questions get asked , they need to be answered directly and to the point , but give some time for the person to respond ,

also showing how the club got started , from idea to now is a good thing,kinda shows new members how it all started

and one thing i have express alot lately is about our site , so im not gonna repeat myself , but for everyone wondering its being worked on right now so hopefully it will be up soon , which is a good step right now

comments are not directed towards anyone , these are just my opinions , and everyone that knows me personally already knows wat up and what im talking about here ,

Wow just read the last bit of the G's ride thread and seen what a mess blew up.. its crazy what you can miss when your not online for a day lol..

I will say a lot of crap was said.. I didn't read through all of it because well, I dont feel like wasting a day of my life reading it all lol...

I will say that its frustrating to see this go on especially since it only hurts the club.. a positive is now all the bs is out in the open and we can start fresh.

I will say that I will likely participate less in the club unless somethings change. First I'd like to see this garbage about not being able to orginize and event or and gb changed.

Since I'm well aware of evom's rules my vote goes to our own phpbb board. Or a vbulletin board if evo soul wants to pay the yearly subscription. I'm fluent in web design and html, I've created and run another VB forum so its not a big deal for me if we wanted to switch to our own.

To me getting an approval to go out of my way to do something for the club is retarded. I'm not 10 years old and shouldn't have to worry about threads getting deleted locked w/e...

I look at it like if an event is posted by someone, thats great. even if its just 4 guys going to the bar and getting hammered who cares.. we shouldn't have to pm infamus and be like ya I want to make an event for 3 weeks from now so we can all go get hammered at X bar...

A good example was the lapping thread.. Since I was scolded in my GB thread for not seaking approval seeking admin approval, I had to pm infamus what I wanted to do.. wait for a responce.. then reply and then finally get it posted...

It would of been 100 times easier just to post the dam thing my self..
Then as it turned out its to late in the season and nobody was interested so that event will not work.. simple

The whole GB thing isn't really a TLC issue but a evom issue I guess.

Another thing.. not sure what bs went on with mccc before, I haven't read way back but it should be ended.

Also WhitelancerGTS, not going to start a **** war in this thread but honestly your driving an audi now are you not? dont worry so much about whats going on here any more. I think you an I can both agree were both very strong opinionated people.

I spoke to aj and blackheart about it and they were game.. evo-soul wasn't a big fan, but did suggest a poll...

I can see blackhearts UC threads were deleted as well... cant say I didn't see that coming.. again with the vender status.

^ yeah seriously get TLC their own forum. Why ***** about paying "1400" for Vender status when you can just pay that money to some web-designer and get a site and forum PROPERLY and cleanly made. One time fee, not repeating

 

The strategy for TLC ahead has more or less been decided in the short run. We are awaiting feedback and further dialog with Internet Brands. But as for now... TLC will remained aligned with EVOM.

An update and announcement addressing this will be posted in the coming days. At the same time Stickied posts that will better define TLC policy, something that should have been done along time ago.

These past two weeks have been.... a little big of a distraction for everyone... but there are more pressing matters to attend to.

This has been discussed with Internet Brands already 2 weeks ago before this flair up and their policy towards our car club is something they take seriously.
The system is not perfect and there are a list of issues but both TLC and IB/EVOM are working to resolve them one by one.
