08+ Lancer V-LIP

Currently we have a few of these bad boys in stock Black ABS Plastic for easy install and no worries of chipping or cracking if you nail something

They come unpainted. If these sell out more can be obtained.

Asking price is $400 CAD

Install is easy, Some 3M two way Tape and a couple of screws. Goes right over the GTS air dams

why does everyone say that? lol

Well this is the Singapore Vlip and its made of plastic, so I dont think the price is going to go down. it is what it is. If you want to install it yourself, ask what the price is before install.

But... RRM has a vlip as well which comes in about 199 dollars less that is Fiberglass material if that is your cup of tea. But since they ship with UPS its hard to say what the shipping + broker charge would come to.

ya and i understand why people say that because of the quality (but dont get me wrong its a sexy lip) and nature of being just a lip, $400 is alot, and ya i def would install myself. and i was thinking of getting the rrm carbon fiber lip but ya brokerage and duties will be a killa

to buy from rrm your looking at $41.90 in ups Entry Preparation Charges then add brokerage, maybe $25-$50, then add duty = $26. Then add shipping maybe around $100 or more..

Then at the end of the day your still getting something which is in fiberglass and will crack if you tap anything vs. the plastic which is much better durability wise for sure.

I think we all need to stop complaining about pricing for the stuff. If you dont like how much it is then keep it to your self. I think we all need to get out of the honda mentality that lips should be $150-$200 to your door and other performance mods are dirt cheap.

You dont see the evo guys *****ing about lips that cost them double if not triple or even quadruple what we pay.

I think the only time I can say something is too much is that one EVO X hand brake upgrade grip. 400 dollars hahah for a hand brake grip.

now thats expensive haha but ya, its always going to be a value judgement. 200 dollars HIDs, 50 dollars HIDs, 200 SRI, 400 CAI .

different expectations and goals make the equation even more complicated.

But in this case, the cost is what it is.

wow ok.. i wasnt complaining.. but whatever I understand what all you are saying and I would get it, I agree about the quality better than RRM but not the carbon fiber (which is the one i want). And i realize you gotta pay top dollar for top quality adn thats what I like about the lancer alot of teh stuff aftermarket is good... like this lip. ok so im sorry I even posted that... i take it back.

By the way evosoul: do you iknow what the price would be without install... just curious

Urban Customz and the Dealerships are going to be importing stuff from Singapore so I am not involved in that.

I am now working on a few projects with Mitsubishi USA first thing is the SEMA show

$375 with no install.

If you were to pick up a FG or CF and you have your car already dropped with the design of wither this one or the RRM one it would definitely be prone to breaking just because the way it is designed. Makes the car even lower.

octane ill tell you right now what you can realisticly expect when you buy a lip from rrm , yes they cut the price in half on the tag so we dont get raped as hard , but when i got my splitter it was 199 , no clue what the conversion was then but it was prolly around another 30$ after conversion , then rrm charged 100 to ship so convert that aswell , then when it got to the door the price was 140 from ups, so all in all for something that was 200$ its cost almost 5 to get it here , im not taking sides here and i like rrm and have never had a issue with them or any of their products , but the better buy here would be from uc if you were to go with that lip

the ****ty thing that you have to remember , is when it comes to any type of body kits lips whatever , being in canada sucks period for pricing no matter who you get it from
