Body Options
So trying to plan out my car for next spring and wondering what everyone thought.
I need to drive this car year round so some ideas my be unpractical then others.
Option A.
Build "high end evo widebody" I plan to change a few things on the kit since there are areas that dont flow. Would be an addon to the existing lancer body, with rear movable rear quarters so I can go somewhat back to stock in the winter.
Downsides, cant blend body kit to car since it needs to come off during winter months, have to spend big money rocking 18 or 19 x 12 rims and tires. Could run a big spacer and get away with a smaller width rim but kind of sketchy running like a 3"-4" spacer.
Upsides, looks bad as hell in my eyes.

Option B.
Stay stock body clean like this guy. Maybe get a evo x style rear bumper and a lip. I would tuck some 18x9.5 rims and tires though going for that flush look.
Downsides, not as extreme all around, tires will need to be replaced yearly or every other year at least due to increased wear from camber for that flush look.
Upsides, Not as expensive buying big wide rims as in option a, no added body work needs to be done other then fender rolling. when winter hits, just swap the winters on and go.

Thoughts, ideas, comments are welcome

Option B: For a DD clean and simple is the way to go. Its a pain in the *** when winter comes around each year to get it ready.
Plus with everyday driving it will require some work to keep it looking like new, but that Evo looks damn sexy.

option B. no reason to put in so much money. wont get anything in return in the long run. make it clean and legit. no need to rice it out by putting a widebody of an evo on a lancer, unless thats what you really like! lol

I would go for the first option and see if you can modify it to add your personal flair to it. Cost at this point is irrelevant. Do what you think added just the right amount of flavor.
if you go with a , you gotta turbo it man , then after you know what your saying from doing yours , we do mine lol
a would be sick but i think youd need to up the power with those looks
b is nice and clean and looks like it came that way
either way they are both nice

its definitely getting turbo'd and I'm going to grab the ralliart drivetrain/rear end mainly and a evo x 5 speed tranny when I can find a good deal and drop those in.
I'm leaning towards a since I like the super aggressiveness and it would go well as a daily driver with my race car. The body work I could do for next to nothing, its just rims and tires I'm not looking forward to spending the money on..
And blasting through the snow in the winter up here in barrie might not be so fun.. so I duno.. maybe the coolest lancer with a snowboard roof rack lol
I dont care what i invest into the car, I'm well aware what I wont get back out of it. I'm not modding it to sell. I'll keep/drive it till the chassis rots to he!l

not at all.. I'm not trying to make the car something its not.. it will always be a lancer. It may no look like a stock lancer but what fun would that be if I looked like every other one on the road.
Its mearly a lancer with a widebody. The lancer and evo are 80% similar exterior wise aside from the wider fenders and front and rear bumpers so its hard to not make it look like a evo.
Now if I start telling people its an evo then please give me a swift kick in the jaw.
