I'd post it. some but im only usin my iphone right now. my computer cannot connect coz the router cannot reach me... maybe I can score there for a good long range router??? hhhmmm...

i have to review the rules of evolutionm.net before posting the majority of the rules. And its a very important issue. When it comes to any establishment that serves alcohol there is a fine line of responsibility to conscious of what image/impression can be given off when it comes to social drinking situation.

As a car club, I think everyone will agree that responsible drinking should be exercised at all times and if that can be done, there should be no drinking period. This event was more of a personal one for myself where everyone from the club was welcome to attend.

In the interim a few images have been posted to our facebook group of a few group shots There are some shots haha that I am sure will not get out there. I will be posting more as soon as I get home and am able to use my photoshop software to crop, blur and trim the images. I am staying in North York for the whole weekend, so maybe monday.

So... we're not allowed to say meet me at the bar for a few drinks without getting a warning/banned? It's life, people drink people smoke and I thought this was a site that allowes freedom of speech (minus the obvious racist/cussing etc) No one said im going to get smashed and drive afterwards, so I don't see how setting up a meet at a bar/restauraunt is a problem. And if we have meets at a restauraunt, almost all of them serve alcohol so are mods going to just assume we're not responsible and close threads? It just doesn't make sense, from what i've read the thread has been clean.

 

the point is this is a family rated forum and I wanted to consult with evolutionm.net. Second point is, as a car club the focus of the club is everything lancer, ralliArt, evo, and mitsubishi. I and i think alot of people would take a firm stance on Drinking and Driving. This has nothing to do with censoring or infringing on your freedoms. This is a very real issues and its something to do with peoples lives.

Answer your comment further. No moderators are involved at all in this situation. I am choosing wisely the course of action and asking before I post. Case and point. Not only is this having to do with the message and vibe of the club, but also sponsors, potential sponsors, and Mitsubishi can be watching. And I take that very seriously.

Again no one is censoring anything, its just using common sense about a serous matter.
Chimera is a Lounge and Bar. They cater with food, drinks, and alcohol. Like alot of places. But I rather not display images that may encourage drinking and driving in any light. I have had someone close to me killed by Drinking and Driving, and I am sure if you ask around alot of people in one way or another have been affected by something like that. And if not posting certain images helps, then i think its a good policy as a car club.

no one said that, but images are worth a thousand words, and someone who is not in the club may look at this a different way. Thru different eyes.

I do not see anything wrong on this thread! If you guys want to post some pics, please remember that they must follow the forum rules (No nudity, no street racing, etc.).

This is a regional forum and as such it is expected to have some "meet at an x place" to watch cars, have a few drinks or whatever you guys want to do that it is not illegal and follow forum rules.

Also, I appreciate evo_soul gesture to remind us to drink and drive responsibly.
