Just picked up my new car recently. nothing much i want to do with it aside from moving the plates to the side. atleast for now... the dealer wants $110 (Parts+Labour) for it...which seems kinda expensive to say the least. anyone know of a body shop i can get it done? Markham/Scarborough area. i have heard of shops around the Markville mall area but there are quite a few there, anyones particular that are recommended? also, any local shops i can pick up the parts for the install? dealer is selling for $50ish and i think online i saw for $30-40 + shipping.

 

u should have ask the dealer to do it before u sign any contracts!!
i ask the dealer to do it when i buy my car
and they installed it for free

 

well i was given the option to get the mount for free or the gas lid... and since the gas lid cost more if i wanted to add it later..i picked that. haha.

 

i got the mount + installation for abour 50 bucks from the dealer before i got the car :P

 

get an aftermarket one, evosoul might still have some lying around
they are really easy to install, you just have to grit your teeth and drill 2 holes in your bumper =O

 

buy one from evo_soul for 20 bucks, get a drill and two holes in your bumper and thats it.

 

u shouldn't have got the gas plate for a wicked white colour..it just doesn't go well together
